Senior Backend Engineer
You'll own backend architecture decisions for two to three concurrent client engagements — data modeling, API design, and production operations, end to end.

- Design data models and API contracts alongside client engineering teams
- Write production code across Node.js/TypeScript and Python services
- Own incident response for systems you've shipped, on a shared rotation
- Review architecture decisions with clients directly, not through a PM layer
What we're looking for
- 6+ years building production backend systems
- Comfortable owning a system from data model through deployment
- Experience explaining technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
- Based in a US or Canada timezone
